October Horoscope 2017 – Overview
Love and relationship are very much the focus for the next few weeks as the emphasis moves to the axis between Libra and Aries and the planet Jupiter prepares to change sign from Libra to deep and introspective Scorpio on October 10/11.
Firstly, Jupiter in Libra makes a third and final opposition to Uranus in Aries on September 28th. This allows you to take action on the integration you have come to regarding just how much of your personal freedom and individuality you are prepared to give up in order to bring harmony to a primary relationship as well as live up to your responsibilities to those you love. It has been a testing year for all kinds of relationships since Jupiter entered Libra in September 2016.
On October 1 the two rulers of Scorpio, Mars and Pluto move ready to work in harmony with each other through an easy flowing trine in preparation for Jupiter’s ingress into the sign.
Relationships come under the spotlight again on October 5/6 with the Aries Full Moon, when the needs of the Libra Sun to keep things nice are opposed by the fiery and impatient Aries Moon. At the same time, rulers Mars and Venus come together in Virgo so there are bound to be fireworks from sudden and passionate attractions. However the path of true love is unlikely to be smooth as neither of the pair are comfortable with Virgo’s self-doubt (and picky nature) and they are moving towards making a square aspect to Saturn in Sagittarius (who will ensure that practical realities are observed).
You may find yourself trying to force any issue, to move past the indecision of trying to keep everyone happy. However, this is unlikely to be fruitful and diplomacy may bring more success after Venus moves into Libra (the sign of her rulership) on October 14.
The Libra New Moon on October 19/20 suggests that politeness and harmony is likely to become more prevalent and issues needing resolution may tend to be swept under the carpet, as Mars prepares to join the party in Libra on October 22/23. Jupiter as a Sky God is a little uncomfortable descending to the depths of Scorpio’s Underworld.
The year ahead (until November 2018) will test your belief and search for meaning in both life and your own inner abilities. Jupiter is associated with expansion and growth but in Scorpio the focus will be more transformational on an inner level, dealing with the shadow side of life, doubts and dirty laundry of all kinds.

The 28th of last month probably found Aries questioning what they are actually prepared to give up in the form of individual expression, in order to remain sane but still keep their relationships alive!
