Scorpio Child Traits, Personality, & Characteristics

First, this fiery star sign has a spooky knack for reading people accurately. Scorpio’s are the most psychic of all the 12 zodiac signs. If you’re not certain of the truth, see how your bairn responds to a person or situation and watch their Spidey Senses in action.

Scorpio kids are so clairvoyant that when he/she tells you they were just talking to great granny (who died before they were born) pay attention. They are likely not making it up.

A child born under this zodiac sign is incredibly smart (genius runs rampant with this lot) and adoring, but they also have a greedy and sometimes down-right scary spiteful side.

Their reactions to, well, everything, can prove quite surprising/shocking and create chaos wherever they are. However, this is because emotions run extraordinarily deep with Water Signs. Whereas others can let things ‘roll off their back’, the Scorpio Child feels every single word and deed in the farthest reaches of their soul.

It can be very helpful to understand that the extreme emotional highs and lows are an intrinsic part of any Scorpio but magnified a hundredfold during childhood.

To best help your Scorpio child navigate their self-created maelstroms, put your life jacket on first and ride the waves with them. Meaning, Scorpio children have no fear so can’t be controlled with such. Scorpio kids respond best to unconditional love.

Remember, the Scorpio’s ruling planet is Mars so admonishments are gauntlets thrown down and even the youngest Scorpion will stand their ground. When it comes time to be firm, come from a place of love rather than dominance and there will be far less drama in your household.

It’s hard for a Scorpio child (or adult for that matter) to forgive anything they consider an indiscretion. Scorpio children have a higher tendency to want revenge than adults whose life experiences have tempered their tails a bit. They would just as soon walk away from a life-long friend after an argument as try to find a solution.

It’s all or nothing with these children, which means being very consistent in your upbringing (believe us – the Scorpio child is an expert at loopholes).

No matter what, the parent of a Scorpio must always be honest – not one little fib as they are very slow to trust even the most beloved of people. The Scorpio child will never respond well to the ol’ “Do as I say, not as I do” routine. Think of this as “show and tell” – act the way you want your child to act.

Remain active and hands on with your child and speak to them at a level their intelligence deserves. The Scorpio child will not shy away from hugs and other shows of love – in fact they benefit from it. This improves their self-confidence as well as becoming more secure in the family unit.

Remember, however, that Scorpios are not as demonstrative as some other signs. Much of what they think and feel may remain a secret until they are ready to share.

That being said (don’t shoot the messenger) the Scorpio sign is perhaps best known for its sex drive. The Scorpio child is likely to be drawn to sexual exploration earlier than any other zodiac sign. In this, and given their natural proclivity for secrecy, working to keep the lines of communication open as regards intimacy can help keep your preteen, tween or teen safer than they might be if left entirely to their own devices and, uh, vices.

It’s probably time for that second drink, huh?

The Scorpio Girl

Scorpio girls have a strong drive focused on the future. What is it that your daughter wants to be when she grows up? No matter what, she’ll crave the tools to support that goal. Oh, certainly, that aim may change with age, but the determination remains and rewires itself for the next great quest.

Your daughter will typically have a tendency to keep things private. That can make open communication difficult. Sometimes you need to reveal aspects of yourself in order to get that peek into their mind and spirit. This tenacity for hiding things often translates into games like hide and seek – they’ll love it! And if you ever want a secret kept, tell it to a Scorpio. It makes them feel trusted, and feeds that need for concealment.

You may find that your Scorpio daughter is a bit of a night owl. That means providing her with a bedtime routine that creates sleep hygiene. This will not be easy. Scorpios thrive on the darkness, believing that they will find all manner of things waiting for them there. As they grow, this explorative nature turns into questioning. These will not be the simple parental questions either. Hint: if you honestly don’t know an answer, say so but then find out a factual answer for them later, otherwise their imagination will run amok.

The sensitivity level for a Scorpio child knows no boundaries. Your daughter may cling to painful things, not wanting the world to see those inner tears. Do whatever you can to help her release those emotions, particularly as they grow into teens. By the way, dad, get that shotgun ready – your daughter is going to attract interested suitors because of her mysterious nature. The allure of the Scorpio is hard for even strong parents to overcome, so be prepared to challenge yourself to get past the surface of your daughter’s dallying.

The Scorpio Boy

Male Scorpios love to dominate the family. This child has great strength, good health and a fair amount of aggressiveness that needs taming before that first black eye. It is very important that parents teach the male Scorpio child to respect authority and the art of being a good looser. Both of these characteristics require a lot of on-going consistency from mom and dad, but helps the Scorpio throughout their life, not just childhood bumps.

The Water nature of Scorpio means that parents have to balance stricture with on-going shows of affection. Without that the Scorpio withdraws even further into his shell. By comparison, when given uniform strictures and plenty of love, the Scorpio boy typically responds with honesty and frankness.

Boy Scorpios, particularly teens, have a strong sense of territory. When he needs to think, he will go to his room and use that space to process life. Don’t go into that sanctuary unbidden or without respect for what it represents. This is his “cave” where the Scorpio can get away from too much input (sensory overload is hard on them).

Scorpio boys have some traits in common with girls. They want the truth, and expect promises kept. Unless you have a very good reason for breaking your “code” with your son – stick to it like glue. As young men, they’re as attractive to others as the Scorpio girl, and should receive some grass-roots talks about sexual responsibility so that companions don’t turn into trophies.

        My daughter was born on October 23 at 1 AM in 2015. She is the definition of cusp so wondering how much libra qualities will also influence her?

        • Bernadette King says:

          Hi, Lexi;

          Though I’m not an astrologer (I’m a psychic medium), experience tells me that having a cusp kid is kind of like having 2 different kids in one! LOL Some days you get the Libra child and other days you get the Scorpio child. So, one day you’ll have a peace loving, non-confrontational sprite and the next you’ll have a child who will be able to scream “THIS IS SPAARRRRTTTAAAAAA” when she’s 6 months old. LOL 😉

          I see you’re a Leo and dad is an Aquarius. Aquarius and Scorpio tend to do well together because there’s so much water element that’s part of Aquarius. Leo and Scorpio can be incredibly explosive – both positively and not so much. So, always remember beautiful lioness – when you roar at your Scorpio on the Libra cusp, her feelings could get very, very hurt. Purring will likely work a bit more in your favor. 😉

          Love,
          Bernadette

          Hi, Nicole;

          Many parents have said the same thing to me about their Scorpio children. When I asked astrologer friends of mine why Scorpio kids just have a “knowing” about them they’ve said that Scorpios already come with ancient knowledge and wisdom. Then, since they are so psychic, they simply intuit their way through most everything and channel “how to” even when they don’t know they are channeling! LOL

          Good luck with your Scorpio baby! She will challenge you in ways you never thought possible! But, she will also love you – fiercely!

          Love,
          Bernadette

        My fist born nov 2 is 100% Scorpio! He is 5 and everyday seems like a power struggle! 2nd born is 100% Aquarius, both boys! Sometimes they play well together and other times it’s like a battle of the wills between the 2! But never a dull moment in my house!thanks for this post it gave me a lot of insight and I’ve always been fascinated with astrology!

        hi i was born in october 23 and i have been trying to tame my emotions for years now but not been able to achieve it. can u talk to me about it

        • Bernadette King says:

          Hello, Otis;

          Apologies for the tardy reply. Was away at a master mediumship development workshop with the incredible Janet Nohavec!

          I’m unsure what you mean by ‘tame’ your emotions. Will you kindly clarify this?

        I’m a Scorpio and my daughter is 1 and was born oct. 23 is technically a Scorpio as well. Her older Brother 3 is a Sagittarius and daddy is a Taurus. She doesn’t like him at all. She is my shadow and doesn’t want to stop nursing. Her relationship with her brother is good and she is the boss of the house. How can we get her to like her daddy more? And maybe not be so dependent on me?

  1. Bianca says:

    Hello Bernadette King I had a question regarding my Scorpio son he is almost 3 yrs old and I am having trouble disciplining my son as like you mentioned he didn’t take no’s for answer that well and I was wondering what would be a good way to not let him get away with everything he wants? Thankyou

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Bianca!

      Oooooooo. A Scorpio son. May I get you glass of wine? Maybe a double shot margarita? LOL 😉

      Yes. I have tons of advice for you because I’m a Scorpio and I was a handful as a child. OK. Still am. But…. LOL

      The first thing I can tell you is never, ever say, “No”. Now, I’m not saying to give in all the time – far from it! But a Scorpio’s mantra is “I desire” and its ruling planet is Mars. So, when someone tells a Scorpio ‘no’, they see it as an invitation to war!

      It’s much easier to redirect your 3 year old’s attention than it is to engage in a battle of wills.

      Also, what’s even harder to understand about a Scorpio is this:

      Scorpio’s want one thing and one thing only – true, everlasting, and unconditional love and loyalty. So, when a parent gets into a “war” with their Scorpio child it sets up a no-win situation for the parent. Scorpio will fight ‘to the death’ for something they really want – even if that means going to war with their parent. But their parents are who they most want to love them! So, fighting makes a Scorpio fearful that the parent will love them a little less and that just causes a whole other issue.

      Bottom line, with Scorpios redirection is the key. That and constant reassurance of how much you love them. <3

      Finally, it would really help to know what your Zodiac Sign is. That way, I can take a look at how the 2 signs best communicate and interact.

      Love,
      Bernadette

      • Bianca says:

        Yes having a Scorpio son is tough! And those margarita shots seem needed very often LOL, Thankyou for your advice it’s very helpful! It makes sense what you mention as he always tries to make a war with whoever tells him “No”   And my zodiac sign is Cancer

        • Bernadette King says:

          Hi, Bianca!

          You are most welcome! It is doubly tough when parent and child are both water signs. But, as a Cancer, you are so, so gentle and sensitive. Just remember to use your shell as a shield when your little Scorpio child wants to sting! And, you can always turn over your crab shell and use it as a margarita glass! LOL

          Love,
          Bernadette

  2. Zing says:

    Very interesting! I’m a Scorpio and I’m expecting a Scorpio girl (Oct. 23rd). Her dad is an Aries and my 7 year old son (child from a previous relationship) is a Libra. What can I expect with these personality traits?

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hi, Zing;

      Oh, Zing! You can expect the most amazing relationship with your daughter! My mom was a Scorpio and I’m a Scorpio. We had one of those relationships you see in movies. We were so connected it was out of this world! As for son and dad, well, just let dad know that Libra’s are sensitive souls who can be intimidated by the fire element in Aires. Scorpio and Aries can tend to go head-to-head and likely your Libra son will always want to play the peacemaker. However, Scorpios and Libras love fiercely so there will likely be tons of love in your home!

      Hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

  3. Leo Mom says:

    Hi! My son was born on November 22 at 4:50 p.m. Is he a Scorpio or Sagittarius or a cusp of the two? He has a Lot of energy, questions non stop and talks non stop too and I mean really non stop because he talks to himself while playing too. I’m his mother and a Leo born on August 10.

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hi, Leo Mom;

      When someone is born within a day or two of the Sun’s move from one Zodiac Sign to another, they are considered to be born on the “cusp”. Generally speaking, the closer it is to midnight, the more one might inherit the personality and traits of both signs. However, it’s always best to get an astrology chart reading with a reputable astrologer to really understand our ‘self’ and others.

      On the cusp of Scorpio and Sagittarius is a challenge for any parent. On the one hand, Scorpio loves the deep waters of everything. They want to know “why, why, why”. On the other hand, Sagittarius just wants to party! They don’t want to go deep on anything but they do want to “go, go, GO”! LOL So, your son is likely to be a fairly restless little lad because he’ll be in a “push/pull” situation – much like Libra.

      It’s a good thing you’re a Leo, because that solar energy is really going to come in handy if you’re to keep up with little one. Good luck!

      Love,
      Bernadette

      • Leo Mom says:

        Thank you! He is exactly that way. So interested in so many things and full of questions. At 7 years he wants to know all about how the human body functions and wants to know everything in so much detail. But the next day he is interested in something totally different. He doesn’t stick to one hobby or interest. But he is always restless and yeah wants to party all the time lol.

    I have a scorpio daughter. She’s so bright and loving but she’s also very willful. She has so much trouble with change. 5. Mom of a Mighty Scorpio Boy says:

    Your insight has given me a lot to think about and a game plan to raise my 7 year old Scorpio boy!
    EVERYTHING you said is spot on.
    I’ve always called him little baby hulk and little boss since he could walk and talk! I’m new to zodiac signs and the personalities they carry, I’m a believer now!
    I’m a Pisces hoping to raise my son with tenderness and care and your right, stern discipline only enraged him more whereas I’ll walk up to him in the heat of his meltdown and give him a hug and kiss and he just melts into my arms the storm is completely over!!

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hi, Mighty Mom;

      Please accept my apology. I normally respond much faster. I was on a mini vacation and, then, Hurricane Matthew decided to visit me in Florida. 😉

      Because you’re new to zodiac signs, hang on to your fins dear Pisces because you’re about to discover something so deep that it might take your breath away – you and your Scorpio son are soulmates in the very truest sense of the word!

      No matter parent/child or lovers, the Pisces/Scorpio match is what Hollywood movies and best selling novels about relationships are based on! Scorpio/Pisces is the magical pairing of The Dreamer (Pisces) and The Sorcerer (Scorpio). Both water signs, these two understand each other as no other signs can.

      As a caution – because these zodiac signs are the two most emotional in the zodiac, try to keep things on an even keel or it can feel like a monsoon has swept in every time there’s turmoil.

      Hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

  6. Lebo says:

    Hi Bernadette,My daughter was born on the 15 November 2011 and she is super strong willed and moody.How to I connect with her and make her do things like have a bath without her crying for days?Thank you

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hi, Lebo;

      Please accept my apology. I normally respond much faster. I was on a mini vacation and, then, Hurricane Matthew decided to visit me in Florida. 😉

      As I don’t know what your zodiac sign is and, so, can’t comment on the personality chemistry that is potentially causing the emotional distress in your Scorpio child. However, what I can share is that Scorpio children hate to be ‘made’ to do anything!

      My mother was a Scorpio, I’m a Scorpio and I have a large number of Scorpio friends (ironically). We ALL will not tolerate someone trying to control us. Now, you’re her mom and just trying to get her to take a bath but your Scorpio girl sees that as another human being exerting power and control over her! That will never, ever end well. E.V.E.R.

      Scorpio is ruled by Mars – the God of WAR. To parents, it’s just a bath. To Scorpio kids, it’s time to mount a counter attack. LOL

      Always, remember, Scorpios are one of the two most emotional signs of the zodiac (Pisces is the other). Approach her gently and lavish her with love when she cooperates. This can really help all Scorpio children because they have a harder time than most playing nice in the sandbox. As she gets older, she’ll find that through cooperation she will receive love. And, at the end of the day, that’s the only thing that’s important to a Scorpio – being loved.

      Hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

  7. Mom of a Mighty Scorpio Boy says:

    Hi Bernadette!!

    I’m glad you made it safely through the hurricane! I live in Tornado Alley so I can somewhat sympathize!

    Yes, what you said made my heart melt, I’m so excited to hear about my Pisces/Scorpio soulmate match!! He’s a mama’s boy and clings to me every moment. Knowing that we are the most emotional water signs and understand each other like no one else soothes my soul more than you know, and gives me comfort for my son! I was so worried about his behavior “problems” UNTIL I found your site and read about the Scorpio personalities. Now I know it’s completely NORMAL for him! Now I’ve changed my reactions to his outbursts and it has been so much more peaceful between us and around our house!! And I can look forward to his future as an Adult and know he will be successful and will always stand up for himself and what is right. And now I know we will have a relationship for the years to come that is full of love, tenderness, and truly be life long best friends!!

    Thanks so much for your priceless website and information and advice you freely give us!!! 🙂
    BUILDING BEAUTIFUL SOULS is beautifully accurate!

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hi, Mighty Mom;

      Yaayyyy! Progress is a beautiful thing! I wish all parents would take the time to learn about and believe in zodiac signs and their compatibility. It could make home life so much more, well, beautiful!

      Thank you so very, very much for the feedback and generous words of praise. They are appreciated more than I can express.

      Let me know if I can help in any other way.

      Love,
      Bernadette

  8. Taurus mom says:

    Hi Bernadette,
    My son was due November 17, 2015, but due to some pregnancy complications he was born September 1, 2015. While I know he was born a Virgo, he definitely acts like a Scorpio – strong, fast, fearless…etc. Is he a Scorpio or a Virgo? I’m a Taurus mom born May 4th and dad is a Leo. Can you give me advice oh how to be with my son?

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Taurus Mom;

      It’s always so powerful when souls decide they want to change their date of arrival into this reality. Actually, you might be surprised how many parents ask if a premature or late birth affects which zodiac sign their child is born under.

      Now, your son is born under the Virgo date and, so, is a Virgo. But, he’s exhibiting a Scorpio personality. This may sound a little wild but that makes perfect sense to me. Virgo’s spend their entire lives second guessing themselves. They seek perfection and, yet, never believe they have made the best move. So, it could be that your Virgo child is channeling his soul’s first choice which was to be a Scorpio child.

      So, I would offer that perhaps as a Taurus mom, it might be challenging for you to understand the Virgo who is masquerading as a Scorpio. However, and this is crucial, Virgos and Scorpios care about one thing and one thing only – true love. Whether it’s family, romantic, platonic or self – love is all they seek. Always come from a place of love – lavish your Virgo/Scorpio with love and you’ll have the best bet of raising a healthy sprite – mind, body, and spirit!

      Hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

  9. Sagittarius Mom says:

    My Scorpio boy is getting ready to turn 10. Holy smokes my life has been a rollercoaster ride since he was born! He’s a lot of fun, very intense, loving, outgoing and drives my older cancer son mad! I found this blog while searching “Scorpio boys destructive behavior”. I don’t know where I’ve gone wrong but my Scorpio gets into these random moods where, if he’s bored, he’s destroying something. As a toddler, he would write all over the walls, shove things in the toilet, destroy the kitchen before we woke up. At 5, he started playing with matches. Needless to say, there is now not one fire starter in the house. Today, at age 10, he decided he was bored and carved designs into my wood bed frame. When does this end?! He drives me insane but I can not stay mad at him. He shuts down if I yell, guilt trips don’t work and I find it hard to give him a hug when he ruins something out of boredom. Insight?!

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hi, Sagittarius Mom;

      Oh, fun loving Sagittarius Mom – I feel for you! First, the MOST important thing is for you to know that you did NOT do anything ‘wrong’! Scorpio is the zodiac sign of destruction – of death and rebirth. Every single Scorpio I know (including myself) has dreamed into their life the most preposterous scenarios where the outcome was their life crashing down right in front of them because of decisions they made.

      And why do they do ‘destruct’? Because Scorpio is ruled by Mars – the red planet, the God of War. Because Scorpio is the sign of death and rebirth AND war – Scorpios destruct/die so they can wage war so they can go through the ‘fight’ to come back to life.

      Extreme? You betcha! But that is Scorpio – which your life-is-a-big-party Sagittarius personality might find a little scary.

      The trick with a Scorpio child is to keep them busy. They are usually, unusually intelligent and no good ever comes of their becoming bored.

      Sure hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

  10. Worried momma says:

    My daughter is about to turn 2 (Oct 31) she is very strong willed and set in her ways. I don’t want to break those qualitit’s, but how to a discipline her when she doesn’t listed/ does something wrong ect. She has not been responding well to anything I’ve tried. ( mom cancer dad Capricorn) also I am currently pregnant and will most likely have a sagitarius baby- will they get along okay?

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hi, Worried Momma;

      My advice to all parents of Scorpio children is to take lots of vitamins and keep your favorite adult beverage handy at all times! LOL

      I completely understand that you are worried. As you are a Cancer, Scorpio energy could easily be overwhelming. But, as a Cancer, you are very well suited to raise a Scorpio child. See, Scorpio kids just want to be loved. And, Water signs are the consummate lovers of this world.

      When your Scorpio girl gets defiant, stand strong but gentle. Meaning – don’t start a war. Scorpio never walks away from a war. Rather, discipline with a smile – so to speak. Sounds kooky but the issue here is that Scorpio kids want what they want NOW – even when they know it is wrong. They like to test the depths of everything. However, when they see that they have made a parent or loved one angry or sad, they have a whole self loathing thing that starts inside because they fear love will be withheld because of their actions.

      It’s an exhausting cycle for parents. But, again, as a Cancer – you can do it! Now, Capricorn dad is another story. He might never understand Scorpio’s extremely emotional nature. Cancer will have to play peacemaker in this relationship. As for Sagittarius baby – as long as your Sagittarius and Scorpio are working together toward a common goal – wonderful! However, I would strongly advise doing your best to keep things from every becoming a head-on battle with them or it could get epic. Sagittarius wants to WIN at all costs and the Mars in Scorpio never walks away from a fight. See what I’m saying? Yeah. Adult beverages and a referee whistle – these are things that can help keep your family on even keel. 🙂

      Hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

  11. Rebecca says:

    Virgo Mother
    My Scorpio son is about to turn 6, and I’m concerned about his negative outlook on life e.g he has asked for a scooter for his birthday & when I say I will get him one his reply is “no you won’t” he just doesn’t seem to have any belief within himself, or anything in life or people, no matter how much I reassure him! I also have a 12yr old cancerian son, a 5yr old Capricorn daughter & dad is a Pisces. My Scorpio son is so hard on himself, he believes he is rubbish at everything, but compared to my other children he is the most intelligent & good at everything, especially sport.

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Rebecca;

      Wow. That’s a LOT of water in one family! A Pisces, a Cancer, and, now, a Scorpio. Whew! E.M.O.T.I.O.N.A.L!

      OK, so here’s what I can offer – Scorpios see themselves as the protectors of everyone and everything they love. Because of this, Scorpios see the ‘dark side’ of everything. We (I’m a Scorpio) can’t help it – it’s part of our Mars mode. We are always scanning for danger because we think it’s our job to be the sentry at the gate of the world. That’s a lot of pressure for a 6 year old but he, of course, has no idea about pressure or what causes it.

      In sports, he will naturally feel like he should be the one responsible to lead the team to victory. After all, sports is a war of sorts. So, helping him navigate through that could help the situation.

      From each family member, your psychic Scorpio son might have picked up some of the following personality traits:

      Virgo – never think they are good enough.
      Cancer – always protecting themselves (by saying “no you won’t” when you tell him you will buy him a scooter, he is protecting himself from disappointment by already telling himself it won’t happen)
      Pisces – prone to depression.
      Capricorn – very much like Virgo, Capricorns strive for perfection and beat themselves up when they think they’ve failed.

      Finally, get him involved in activities that have no goal – activities that are fun for fun’s sake. Scorpios tend to be extremely serious in nature even though they usually have a wicked sense of humor. It’s very important to help him learn how to lighten up and laugh.

      Sure hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

  12. Mommyof3 says:

    This relates to my son so far. He was born november 2nd 2015 and already showing dominance over his two sisters (4 year old aires and a 3 year old cancer). Already have our hands full with this little whirlwind of cuteness.
    Mommy and daddy are a cancer and leo so havent dealt with scorpio traits so far in our family.

    HELP!!!!
    My scorpio son is SO difficult at times. I’m a scorpio mom 11/11 and he’s 11/15. I have a capricorn older son and a libra son as my youngest. The scorpio son is in the middle. I feel for him because he’s always been different (being in the middle and being a scorpio firecracker) and always feels left out and like he’s getting the short end of the stick in everything no matter how hard I try to make sure things are as fair as possible and all 3 kids are as close to equality as possible but I feel like I’m still failing miserably!! He’s turning 9 in a few days and I’m scared that I’ve messed up with him so bad that there’s no turning back. We butt heads constantly. He’s pushed my buttons so hard and so long that I’ve blown up at him lots of times after hours of holding it together and grabbing another glass of wine and then …he throws in the last straw and there I am grabbing him by his shoulders and screaming in his face and then he stands there and smirks as if this was what he was trying to accomplish the entire time. I feel like I’m raising satan and then the next day, he’s an angel and trying to save injured insects from the yard. %$#@#$%
    Sometimes he terrorizes the other 2 kids in the house so bad that I HAVE to intervene for their own peace and the intervention is a disaster. His latest thing is to scream that he hates me and hates his brothers sending them into their rooms to cry and then when I discipline him even in the slightest small way, he screams “You hate me!” and he says it over and over and over again until I feel like I”m going to have a full breakdown myself. I know that I have gone too far getting angry with him in the past and so I’ve tried sincerely apologizing to him about mama getting too angry. The worst I have done is that I’ve smacked his butt with my hand when no other discipline has done any good whatsoever and ONLY in times that he has blatantly and purposefully disobeyed…usually saying very disrespectful things that he’s been warned about repeatedly. I hate it though. I hate myself for resorting to that and not being able to solve it without that. I’m sure to tell him often that I only get angry at what he DOES and no matter how angry I get, I always always love him unconditionally. It almost seems like he takes this as a challenge to see if he can make me a liar. He will seem to accept it but he always goes back to this old tricks…usually even worse. I thought being a scorpio myself I would understand him and “get him” but I guess the male and female scorpio is still quite different. I guess the universe thought this was hilarious giving me a scorpio son! haha I’m scared he’s going to turn into an narcissist before I can figure out how to parent him 🙁

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, andigraham;

      It’s important that you know I’m not a counselor or medical health professional of any kind. So, my answer is purely from a metaphysical perspective.

      When Scorpio parents have difficult Scorpio children, it can be an extremely explosive and toxic environment. First, Mars is Scorpio’s ruling planet. So, given that the smallest disagreement is out and out war to a Scorpio, the trivial can quickly become a tirade – on both sides. Both parent and child will fight to the bitter end. This sets up the next problem…

      When a Scorpio goes to war, when they walk away from the battlefield they rarely give another thought to whomever is left lying ‘bloody and battered’ (this is a metaphor, not physical). If they went to battle with someone they love, it sets up a ‘loss of love’. And, nothing but nothing makes a Scorpio lose their mind like losing someone or something they truly love. Whether that person, pet, place, or thing is lost to them because it died a natural death, was taken away from them, they drove it away – it doesn’t matter. It’s gone. The ‘love’ is gone. That tears a Scorpio’s soul to shreds.

      Perhaps, it could be helpful to know that as a Scorpio parent it can be devastating to feel like your child might not love and respect you. However, to your child, these epic emotional wars you’re describing might be making him feel like your love is in danger of disappearing – even if it’s not.

      I encourage you to find a family counselor who is, also, knowledgeable in the interaction of zodiac signs and their compatibility. He/She might be able to help your family find its way back to love and trust.

      Hope that helps.

      Love,
      Bernadette

  14. Rebecca H says:

    Hi there! love everything about this post and in the comments. I am a Sagittarius mom, dad is an Aquarius and our son is a Scorpio. He has just turned 2 and has major meltdowns to the word “no”. He does not like to follow orders or listen. I don’t like yelling at him because he puts his head down and just gives me a hug which I give him a hug back and kisses. I am at a crossroads where I don’t know how to get him to listen and follow commands because he just doesn’t want to. Any advice is welcome!

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Rebecca;

      Yay! So happy you’re loving the visit to BuildingBeautifulSouls.com!

      Oh, Rebecca, if I could raise everyone’s Scorpio children for them – I would! We (I’m a Scorpio) are very difficult children and, often times, adults. 1st, we hate to be told no. Just like it reads in all the comments, Scorpios see the word ‘no’ as a challenge. And, when we’re challenged – we go to WAR! Once we understand this about our personality (based on zodiac sign) we can talk ourselves down from emotional grenade launching. But, of course, a two year old doesn’t understand that. Also, yelling at a Scorpio will never, ever end well.

      Now, something that can be terrifying to a parent, but is true so must be said – Scorpio is the sign of death and rebirth. Scorpio children adults constantly look (subconsciously) look for ways to ‘die’ and ‘come back from the dead’ – whether it’s relationships, grades, careers, etc. So, when you see him trying to crash and burn (as in the case of having a meltdown and not listening), try to redirect him. Over time, if he can come to know that everything is his choice and that nobody is ‘forcing’ him to do anything, he will likely respond very well to that. See, forcing a Scorpio child to do something means you’re conquering them. Scorpio is ruled by Mars – the God of War. So, as stated earlier, try in any way you can not to go to war. Both will always lose.

      Sure hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

    Hi. I am a Taurus and my husband is a Sagittarius. We just had our second child, another Scorpio, this time a boy. I was wondering how the dynamics will be in raising 2 Scorpio children, a boy and a girl. They are 3 years apart. How can we be the best parents for our kids. What will be the biggest obstacle based on our own signs to look out for?

    -Josephine

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Josephine;

      TWO Scorpio children? Wow! Better stock up on wine! LOL OK so right now, your household lacks a ‘mediator’. Meaning, Taurus is set in their ways, Sagittarius wants to get their own way, and Scorpios who will stop at nothing to get their own way. Try to take a cue from Sagittarius – they just want to party and have fun. So, when your Scorpios break out in world war three – because they will – do your best to divert them to something that will calm them down and make them laugh. Never, ever forget that Scorpio is ruled by Mars – the god of war. It’s exhausting for a parent but as long as you are forewarned, you can be forearmed!

      Hope that helps!

    Hi thanks for the read! Wondering if you have the time to give me a little more insight on my 4 year old Scorpio son and his thought process. He is so intuitive and headstrong and amazing at the same time! I’d love some info on how our two signs work together and ways to reach him better. I’m a Leo, hear me roar. And his daddy is a quiet Virgo. Any info you could share would be amazing. Does the year born have a determinating factor in personality as well? My birth year is 1985 and his daddy’s is 1980. What would you say a Scorpio boy’s strength and weaknesses are and the what would be the best way to raise a Scorpio child? Especially given the info of our different signs. You’re the best thanks!

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, April;

      Apologies for the tardy reply. Was on vacation. 🙂

      Wow. That’s quite the Zodiac Sign mix in your household! OK, so the birth year does come into play but you’d need a total chart done to determine exactly how this affects each family member’s Zodiac Sign as well as how they might interact together. I always recommend my own astrologer, Sara Gilbert. Take a look at her website – LifeSpiritConnections.com.au

      Next, it can really help if you read up on the Leo Zodiac Sign and the Virgo Zodiac Sign.

      The best advice I can give about interaction is that each of your Zodiac Signs is all about independence (though Scorpio is a bit more about secrets and mystery than actual independence). Leo and Scorpio are all about dominance. So, power struggles could create some turbulent times. Just like you said, Leo’s roar. That never, ever, ever flies with a Scorpio. When someone yells at a Scorpio, they hear it as a war cry. It never goes well. Additionally, as much as the Scorpio child will go to war at the drop of a hat their feelings get extremely hurt by, well, so many things. This makes it tough to parent the Scorpio child because you just never know what’s going to cut through their heart. Best advice here is not to roar but, rather, to keep the lines of communication open by purring as much as possible – maybe a growl now and then but no roars.

      As for the Virgo hubby, well, be prepared Leo mommy. If it turns out that the son and hubby made a sacred contract to get along in this lifetime, you might get a bit jealous of the love they share. Both Virgo and Scorpio love with an intensity few can understand because each loves from the purest place of the emotion. Don’t let the legendary Leo jealousy rear its ugly head and things should be grrrreeeatt!

      A Scorpio’s strengths are, also, their weaknesses: intelligence, psychic ability, drive, ambition, need to make sure wrongs are righted, compassion, sense of humor, and ability to look the underbelly of life in the eye without flinching.

      Hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

    Libra mom scorpio daughter
    I’m seriously at my wits end with this child. She is literally all of the worst characteristics of scorpio and I feel like I’m falling her as a mother because I just don’t understand how someone can be so negative, selfish, and vindictive at 6 years old. She does not play well with siblings or friends, she has more attitude than a teenager and is very destructive to other people’s property. Her tantrums are embarrassing and no amount of reasoning, justifying, our punishment works. She’s just a brat and that’s not how I raise my children. Please help!

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Jesseca;

      Apologies for the tardy reply. Was on vacation. 🙂

      Based solely on Zodiac Signs, metaphysics, and spirituality here’s what I can offer;

      I’m a Scorpio. And, once upon a time, my mother might have said the very same things about me. However, she was, also a Scorpio – so on many levels she understood me. For you, Libra mom, having a Scorpio child can be incredibly challenging because you just want everyone and the world to be peaceful and beautiful – and for everyone to love one another.

      It can really help if you start to see your Scorpio child as ‘un-evolved’ rather than a ‘brat with all the worst characteristics of Scorpio’. What this means is there are many, many reasons a Scorpio (or any Zodiac Sign for that matter) might exhibit their ‘worst’ personality traits.

      Here are some of the reasons your Scorpio girl might be acting (as you say) ‘negative, selfish, and vindictive’:

      • Past Life Issues – There’s no telling what kind of past life issues and/or karma your Scorpio daughter has carried with her to this life. And the same holds true for you.
      • Sacred Contract – Your two souls agreed to come into this life and play these roles so each of you could learn and grow – to ‘evolve’. When we’re having a tough time in life this concept can be a harsh one to accept. However, if we didn’t choose our lives – who did? I believe we all move in soul groups – that we play different roles in each other’s soul ascension process. The movie ‘Cloud Atlas’ shows this concept brilliantly.

      So, how does all this help you and the situation? Well, perhaps if you can come to see that you are part of a bigger picture – one that’s far more than your Scorpio child being a ‘brat’ or her tantrums being ’embarrassing’. On the flip side, your daughter is, also, part of a bigger picture. She’s also come here to help you (and the whole family) learn and evolve.

      When a Scorpio acts out the way your daughter is, it’s important to remember that the Scorpio mantra is “I desire”. So, if you can get to the root of what it is she really wants and why she really wants ‘it’ – you can better help her navigate the stormy seas she’s signed up to sail upon.

      Finally, Pluto is Scorpio’s ruling planet. It’s the planet of control and power. Scorpio has a minor planetary ruler – Mars; which is the God of War. Scorpio children want to conquer the world, claim it and its inhabitants for their very own. Further, we are prepared to fight to the death for what we want. Now, this is horrifying for parents! But, we are the same children who grow up to become great leaders and activists – because we have an internal battery that never gives up when we’re fighting for a just cause. That’s to be admired, right? But when that power, control, and war energy is misdirected, no good ever comes of it. It causes social and family issues – toxic relationships of all kinds.

      Maybe by redirecting your daughter’s energy toward more positive ‘desires’ you can help her see that she will, ultimately, be much happier (get more of what she wants) by doing ‘good’ instead of ‘bad’. For instance, let’s say that she destroys someone’s property. Don’t tell her you’re going to ‘show her a lesson’ – but, quietly take her to help at a children’s shelter. Let her ‘see’ what life can be like for others. Keep her involved with situations and persons who are less fortunate. Over time, you might see a softer, gentler young lady. Under all her ‘brattiness’ she has the tender, compassionate heart of a Scorpio. It’s there. You just have to help it evolve.

      Hope that helps.

      Love,
      Bernadette

    Hello!
    What a great read! I am an Aries who just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Nov. 1st. Full on Scorpio born on a Tuesday! I’m curious for your take on my future seeing how you are a Scorpio as well is awesome! Dad is a Leo and his childhood caused him to be even more on the selfish side of that sign. I’m worried about how that will affect my sweet boy. Otherwise I’m very excited to have lots of fun raising a little stinger!!

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Heaven Majesta;

      Apologies for the tardy reply. Was on vacation. 🙂

      Congratulations! And, it’s so awesome to hear from a parent who’s excited to raise a Scorpio! Many are terrified! LOL OK, there’s lots of fire in your household (Aries and Leo). Now, add the element of water and fire together – eventually, there will be some steam. LOL Your Scorpio child will be able to handle the Leo hubby, no problem. That said, my intuition is telling that your Scorpio boy will be more sensitive than most – almost an ‘artist’s soul’. So, Leo hubby will need to take care and not throw so much fire around that the water evaporates.

      Hope that helps!

  19. Pisces Mom says:

    Hello, I’m a Pisces mother of a 13mo. Old Scorpio. She was born 3 mo. Premature on November 17th and she beat all of the odds. She was only 1lb 13oz at birth she had a pda ligation(heart surgery) at 1 mo old. They said if she made it she would be on oxygen support for a while after coming home. Well she came home on February 23rd no oxygen support they said she would have physical complications possibly cerebral palsy. None of that either she’s walking babbling and getting into everything! She DOES NOT listen to no. She has unbridled determination! I’m excited to raise her and welcome the challenge, that being said her complete disregard for what I think has me a bit concerned. She will hit my face and no matter what you I give her or how many times I say “be nice to mommy’s face” she will come back pout, snuggle for a moment, look me right in the eye and do it again. I have to set her down and walk away at which point she has a melt down. I come back kiss her tell her I love her and sometimes she goes on. However there are times that all she wants to do is rearrange my facial features lol. I want my daughter to be respectful but also her own person, I do not under any circumstances want to hinder her spirited nature I think it is beautiful, and I attribute her success and literally her life to it. Any suggestions for this Pisces Mom? Also she came early does this affect her sign at all?

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Pisces Mom;

      Apologies for delayed reply. The first of the year is always crazy booked with psychic readings. Whew! LOL

      Oh my goodness! Well, I can speak directly to what you’re experiencing because, in many ways, I was your Scorpio daughter. When I was born, my heart stopped for 4 minutes and I had pneumonia. For the first 3 months of my life I was in a hospital incubator. The doctors told my mom I would be stunted physically and mentally. That didn’t happen! I’m strong as an Ox and I do OK in the ‘smarts’ department. Additionally, the one story my mom loved to tell more than any was the time when I was 5 and she smacked my bottom when I misbehaved. She was sitting in a chair and when she whacked me, I balled up my fist and punched her in the face. LOL It’s really not funny but my mom (who was also a Scorpio) said she knew at that moment I was going to be more than a handful. That was an accurate prediction.

      The great news of this is that you’re a Pisces momma! You’ll be the calm, soothing waters of your Scorpio child’s tumultuous life.

      So, here’s something that I hope you’ll understand from a place of deep spiritual understanding rather than a place of fear. Over the years, what I’ve come to realize is that Scorpios constantly create life scenarios wherein they ‘die’ and are re-born. In your daughters’ case as well as my own – we started early! We almost died at childbirth but we fought all the odds and are alive! Very, very alive! LOL She will create these situations all through life unless you teach her to see what she’s doing and understand how to navigate these soul lessons more gracefully. Her higher self can help her ascend without having to go through hell and back – over and over again.

      Finally, yes. I do think it matters a great deal that she came 3 weeks early. Scorpio’s mantra is “I Desire”. Your beautiful Scorpio’s soul knew she wanted YOU as her momma and she was sick and tired of waiting. She ‘desired’ to get what she wanted sooner rather than later. Also, her soul never wanted to be a Sagittarius in the first place. She just jumped in because that’s when you and dad decided to get pregnant. But your daughter planned to be a Scorpio from inception. And, true to Scorpio nature, she got her way! LOL

      Hope that helps!

      Love,
      Bernadette

      • Pisces mom says:

        Thank you so much I love reading any new insight with my daughter. The two of you seem to have a lot in common she was actually 3 months early not 3 weeks (she was supposed to be a Pisces like me lol) she too had pneumonia and was in an isolette/incubator for just shy of 2 months. She too had Brady desaturations where her heart would stop or near stop and she would not breathe. And the first week she was home she required cpr and an overnight stay at the children’s hospital. She can stop dying and coming back any time now!!! lol I mean she hasn’t done anything like that in quite some time knock on wood. Anyway I’m getting long winded. Thank you for all of your input!

          You are most welcome! Gosh! Your little one is really gonna do great things. I know this because any Scorpio who puts themselves and their families through this kind of drama is simply getting ready for the BIG things they are going to do in life! It’s kinda like Soul Strengthening Boot Camp! 😉

  20. Pisces Mom says:

    I was so excited I forgot to mention her father is a Sagittarius but he left a little over a month after she was born and disappears for months at a time. He will call weekly for a while then he’s gone again. My boyfriend is a Capricorn. We live with my family Sagittarius grandma (my mom) my cancer brother who is 16 and my daughters grandpa (my step dad)who is a June 19 Gemini. My mother is great but she definitely grew up in a very disciplined household. And so what my mom says goes when we were kids. It’s actually been kind of funny to watch my little Scorpio with her because she doesn’t listen to no or stop. Which is going to be frustrating to grandma soon lol. Don’t know if any of this helps you get a better picture but I’m so excited for your Scorpio advice and point of view. Every other post I have read makes me laugh because these little Scorpio babes are so much like mine with the brilliant attitudes and full of energy personalities that are so captivating.

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello again, Pisces Mom;

      Oh, Sagittarius. They have the attention span of toddlers. I’m allowed to say that because my husband is a Sagittarius. 😉

      It makes very good sense why you are in a relationship with a Capricorn – slow and steady. Both Pisces and Scorpio can definitely use some earth element in their lives so they can stay a bit grounded.

      With that family mix, the best advice I can give is don’t let everyone try to tell you how to raise your Scorpio. Too often, family members try to pressure parents of Scorpio kids to ‘get them (the child) under control’. Yeah. Good luck with that.

      Remember, Pluto/Mars rules Scorpio. All the ‘control the Scorpio’ approach does is start a war.

      Teaching your Scorpio child about themselves can often times be the best approach. Scorpio kids understand they are different. They rarely enjoy this because at the end of the day, all Scorpio seeks is to be loved – deeply and truly. Even when a Scorpio has created the problem, they desperately fear family/people will withdraw their love. This just makes them act out more because Scorpio hurts down to very bottom of her/his soul.

      Scorpios are incredibly challenging to raise. But, the reward can be epic. You got this Pisces momma! You were born to be a Scorpio’s mom!

      Love,
      Bernadette

  21. Cusp Mama says:

    Hello! Mom of a newborn Scorpio boy here. I’m glad it was discussed earlier about souls deciding to be born at a different time- I was supposed to be a Gemini but was born a Taurus, so I’ve never been a big follower of the zodiac (for myself) because it has always felt pretty useless to me personally (given my situation). I’m a good mix of both, but my “astrology predictions” for either are very seldom accurate. My partner is also a Gemini. After reading this thread (and most of the comments) I feel that what has already been revealed is so accurate about my son! I’m here because I know I’m in for trouble, I just don’t know how much.

    Of the traits listed above, I feel that my son is a decent combo of myself and his dad- but mostly his dad. Haha I can’t help but feel that as heavy water signs, they will but heads for being SO MUCH ALIKE. My son, born November 14th is also already very affectionate and understanding, and I definitely already feel that he will be incredibly clairvoyant! My child is likely to be so much smarter than me. Help! Haha

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Cusp Mama;

      Apologies for the tardy reply. Was away at a master mediumship development workshop with the incredible Janet Nohavec!

      You’ll be OK! I promise! LOL 😉 Here’s the thing about Zodiac Signs and astrology – our Zodiac Sign matters, for sure. BUT, we have a thing called a Rising Sign. So, for instance, I’m a Scorpio. I’m supposed to be all dark and mysterious. HA! I’m totally outgoing and bubbly. Why? Because my rising sign is Sagittarius.

      Do you know what your baby Scorpio’s Rising Sign is? That will really help you understand him.

      Hope that helps.

      Love,
      Bernadette

  22. Elissa says:

    Hello,
    We are a Libra mom and Taurus dad. Our 5 year old daughter is a leo sun/Scorpio moon. She is smart, well spoken beyond her age, intuitive, tough, confident and outgoing. She has a soft spot in her heart for babies, animals. On the flip side she can get really angry and lose her temper when something or someone sets her off. I’ve read articles that Scorpio moon is a bad moon sign to have and all this scary stuff like abuse etc. She is raised in a loving and stable home. So I don’t really understand and want some clarification on that cuz what I read freaked me out. I know this article is about sun Scorpio but was wondering if you could give me some good advice on the moon aspect. Thank you!

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Elissa;

      I am sorry you are freaked out. Many parents of Scorpio children experience the same emotion. The Scorpio child is a conundrum to be sure – even when it’s the Moon aspect rather than the rising sign. The moon in astrology charts governs our inner most ‘self’ – our moods and emotions. A Scorpio’s emotions are full of mystery – even to the Scorpio. All water signs are incredible empaths – compassionate beings whose hearts literally break each time they see the ills of society – abused children, animals, elders, etc. Scorpios in particular are the judges of the Universe – they want nothing more than to right all the wrongs. That said, Scorpio is ruled by Mars and Pluto – Gods of War. Should she go on to do benevolent works, driven by her Scorpio anger ignited by injustices, well – then her Scorpio-ness won’t be that bad in the grand scheme of things now will it?

      Now, before that scares you tender-hearted Libra mom – try to remember that the human race has been to literal war many times. It is my belief that all who are born Scorpio have fought in true wars throughout many lifetimes. If this is true, then scary as your Scorpio child’s fury can be when she throws an angry fit it is entirely possible she is reliving her life as a valiant warrior in another lifetime. Once upon a time she may have been the warrior who saved your village, town or family’s life. If you could remember that then she wouldn’t be so scary – she would be the hero.

      That she’s raised in a loving and stable home has no bearing on her organic nature and personality. With your family’s loving guidance she can come to better understand her basic nature and, then, learn to make decisions that are for her highest and best good. Sometimes she will be able to beat that legendary Scorpio temper, other times she’s unleash the Kraken. It is who she is and all in the family signed up for this Sacred Contract. You all will do great! I just know it!

      Hope that helps.

      Love,
      Bernadette

  23. Rachel says:

    Hi Bernadette,

    My youngest daughter was born November 15, she is now 6. There have been so many changes in the last two years and I have
    seen a huge difference in her. Her father and I separated and in the last year he has become very sick. He has huntingtons disease and mentally is not stable. He has seen the kids only once throughout the year. This has been difficult on all of my children but my youngest is taking it the hardest. Because of the disease he will not get better and will continue to decline for maybe the next ten years.
    My question is how do I as a Virgo mother be there for my little scorpio and her siblings (Aries and Pisces)?Also struggling with the thoughts that they too could have this disease.
    Thanks
    Rachel ?

    • Bernadette King says:

      Hello, Rachel;

      My humble apology for the delayed reply. I’m working hard to personally reply to all comments on both my sites – WhatIsMySpiritAnimal.com and BuildingBeautifulSouls.com. Unfortunately there are only 24 hours in a day so I can’t get to them all as quickly as I would like.

      With your permission, I’ll send healing energy to your family.

      As a Virgo mom, this must be super tough on you. Virgos tend to derail when things get messy. So, the best advice I can offer is to breathe. When you start to spin, recognize that you’re spinning because A. it’s Virgo’s nature and B. because you’re a wonderful mom who loves her family deeply. In this, don’t judge yourself so harshly. You can’t and won’t ‘mess your children up’.

      Now, your Aries child will most likely be able to cope with all this – no problem. Aries are strong leaders and it takes a great deal to bring them down.

      However, your Scorpio and Pisces will need extra, extra TLC. See, they are water signs. And, as such, will be able to feel every single vibrational energy – positive and negative. If you are freaking out – even if you think you’re not showing it – your Scorpio and Pisces children will ‘know’ and it will make them feel unsafe. Both Scorpio and Pisces are natural healers who want to understand the ‘why’ of everything. Perhaps it can help to help them have a complete understanding of their father’s disease. Many parents want to keep their children sheltered and try to hide such things – thinking their kids will be better off if they don’t have to face illnesses and loss till they are older. But Scorpios and Pisces will know if they are being lied to – and it will make them unsettled; even if you are ‘lying’ to protect them.

      Also, Scorpios and Pisces are well known for their emotional melt downs. They can’t help it. This ‘messiness’ can make Virgos incredibly uncomfortable. Perhaps learn what it means to ‘hold sacred space’ and work on being able to do so for your kids. This can be a bit challenging for a Virgo but I get the feeling you are more comfortable working from the heart center than are many Virgos so this methodology might work well for your family.

      Hope that helps.

      Love,
      Bernadette

        I feel so much relief from what you have said. This will be a tough journey but I know I can do it. Just breathe.
        Thank you from the bottom of my heart ?

    I have two daughters and this is so accurate for both. 5 yr old scorpio and 1 yr old libra. They get along great together but I can already tell I’m in for a struggle of what works for one doesn’t for the other. Any advice on keeping a good parenting balance between these two very different personalities?

      Hello,

      Apology for delayed reply. I’m finding that having two hands is not enough and I’m looking into getting surgery to become an Octopus. 😉

      One of my bestest friends EVER is a Libra. Whereas most Libras are scared to death of Scorpios he’s an evolved Libra and a great panacea to my Mars energy. He just lets me be me and helps me come back to balance when I’m off kilter. So, even though your Scorpio child is older, young Libra will love to be helpful in keeping the beloved sibling in a place of peace.

      That said, Scorpio is Mars/Pluto (war) ruled. Libra would rather walk off the edge of the earth than have a fight. So, don’t let your Scorpio ‘war’ with your Libra. No good will come of that. Keep both kids constantly engaged in focusing on what they want rather than what they don’t want and all should be great!

      Hope that helps.

      Love,
      Bernadette

        Hello!
        I have loved reading all of these comments and advice. My Scorpio daughter is 5 months old now. I have an Aries son who is 2. I’m Libra (mum) my partner Pices (dad). Someone once frightened me about having a Scorpio daughter, so here I am! I absolutely adore my daughter and find she is SO happy & smiley!

    I love the information you’ve given on here, THANK YOU! so much. We have a Miss 4 Scorpio and much of what you have shared is our life already, lol. My husband is a Virgo and I’m a Libran and I find at times I am placed in a difficult position in terms of how we parent. Can you please help shed some light on this dynamic. Also, after 11 years trying we were finally blessed with our little Scorpio. We are not having any more kids, do you have any advice for raising an only Scorpio?

    I’m an Aries, dads a Cancer and we’re expecting a Scorpio baby this year. Any advice or opinion on what’s it going to be like?

  27. Sasha says:

    I am a young mom of 2, my aries 2 year old and my piscis 3 year old. I just found out that I’m pregnant with a scorpio (still don’t know if baby #3 will be a boy or girl).

    I’m kind of terrified of this combination because I’m a gemini and my younger brother is a scorpio and he made my life miserable to the point where I left the house at 17 and completely derailed my goals and life just to get out of that nightmare situation. Am I doomed?? ?

    Hello, I would like some insight on how to manage my 19m Scorpio daughter. She is definitely a challenge to me now. But I admire her spirit and believe she is and will be a force to be reckoned with. I love strong woman and I want to do my best to help mold her into her best self. I am a Taurus and her father Libra. She is not as affectionate as I’ve read about her sign but when she does show affection it’s with all the might her little body can muster. She clings to me for dear life when we are in social settings even if she’s been around the same people on multiple occasions. I don’t push her to open up but in my culture it is often times perceived as rude behavior. Also I’m trying to stop nursing her and she’s putting up the fight of her life when I refuse her I want to find the least traumatic way to wean her and get her to transition into the next “big girl” stage. Any insight on how to parent my spicy sweet smart girl using the knowledge of metaphysics would be wonderful!
