Filing Cabinet Dreams
(see Doors, Organizing)
Each drawer or file in the cabinet represents a memory, bits of knowledge, experiences, or other parts of yourself that you have neatly sequestered away for future reference or use.
Take note of the condition of the cabinet and files. Are they orderly and well maintained, and do they appear as if they’re regularly used? If so, then this dream indicates that you apply all your experience and knowledge in daily living. If, however, some of the files (or drawers) appear locked, are marked “confidential,” or are laden with heavy dust, this shows that there is something un-confronted in your past. Now might be the time to open that folder so that it doesn’t become a skeleton in your closet, waiting to appear at the worst possible moment.
(see Body, Hand, Rings)

Clenched fingers reflect tension or anger that has not been directed constructively.
The central finger of the hand is an emblem of the phallus, which actually dates back to Rome when prostitutes used it to beckon their customers. This usage slowly changed to our modern insult. The question here is to whom the insult directed and why?
Crossed fingers symbolize your wishes and hopes.
Fingernails have several implications. First, they were a common component for magical spells to gain power over another. Second, depending on how they’re used in the dream, these can be a kind of weapon. In addition, fingernails over a blackboard reveal irritations.

Dreaming of burning clothes symbolizes the desire to do away with societally designed images for a more honest self-representation.
Dreaming of a fire whose coals have grown cold is a very negative image. It represents trouble, despair, and possibly the loss of love among those people close to you due to a misunderstanding. Try to find a way to put a fresh warm ember into this situation.
