The Seven of Cups Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

March Tarotscope 2019: Overview – Seven of Cups

Choices, choices, and more choices! The Seven of Cups depicts seven chalices floating in the air with dark grey clouds blocking any view of what lies ahead. Each chalice contains a choice, but only one chalice renders the greatest outcome.

The chalices feature symbols relating to triumph, recognition, treasure, arcane wisdom, power, lust, and spirit. Clouds are blocking us from seeing the full outcome of our choices, but the Seven of Cups assures us we are, indeed, empowered to decide our fates.

Out of all options, the one most correct is spiritual fulfillment. We need to give serious thought about our choices, both big and small. Even the smallest of choices have a ripple effect, not just in our own lives, but the lives of others. The card also calls our attention to the hand we have in the outcome of our relationships and endeavors: We cannot lay blame on fate or destiny for our position in life.

Even if some of us are among the natural introverts of the world, life is calling on us to be a participating player. We might end up serving as a role model for others or conditions may just be calling us out of seclusion so we can be more proactive in the fulfillment of our destiny.

Affirmation: “I make every choice with full knowledge of my power as co-creator of my reality.”

March Tarotscope 2019 – All 12 Zodiac Signs

The Hermit Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Aries (March 20-April 19): The Hermit (Reversed)

The Hermit’s an old man with a wizard-like appearance. He is carrying a lantern and staff. He walks through the desert as a symbol of his voluntary isolation. From the lantern light emanates from a six-pointed star (hexagram): The Talisman of Saturn.

Corresponding with the sign of Virgo, The Hermit’s appearance points to a time involving a search, quest, questioning, and discovering clarity. You won’t have time to bury your head in the sand this month. Just keep in mind, not everyone has achieved the state of enlightenment you’ve have. You may not be successful convincing others to agree with or even understand your perspective.

If you’ve been hiding away from your lover and seeking solitude, you’ll long for reconnection. In other relationships where you’ve been playing the avoidance game, conditions force you out of hiding. You question your readiness, but you’ll embrace the challenge, anyway. Where once you thought you lost your way in life, a light at the end of the tunnel compels you to try again.

Affirmation: “I remain steadfast on my path and true to my life’s mission.”

The Knight of Wands Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Knight of Wands (Reversed)

The Knight of Wands rides a brown horse that rears back from an unseen threat. But the knight remains with steady gaze and poised body. He holds a wand that represents his willful intent to share a message, despite any obstacles in his way.

The distant pyramids signal a potential challenge ahead, but it’s nothing this gallant knight can’t handle. Given his bold and youthful nature, there’s a strong chance he’ll forge headlong into dangerous conditions without giving the situation due consideration. Now, for Taurus in March, this knight comes up in reverse.

There will be a lot of time where you feel like you’re standing still this month. For any other zodiac sign, this might be problematic, but not for the tried-and-true Taurean. Resistant to change, a temporary standstill is no sweat off your back. Just take care that this period doesn’t turn into one of stagnation. Eventually, deliberate measures are necessary to change the status quo.

To achieve your dreams, pull yourself up by your bootstraps and go after what you want; this includes doing the work to ensure romance thrives. Not everything is green pastures and carefree days in the Sun in the love department, even if you were born lucky enough to have Venus is your ruling planet. In business, now is not the time to make big changes; maintain a “when-in-doubt-do-nothing” position.

Affirmation: “I make wise choices and accept change.”

The Two of Cups Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

(Gemini May 21 – Jun 21): Two of Cups

The Two of Cups depicts a male and female. They are holding chalices and preparing for a toast. Between them is a floating caduceus: A healing symbol. A female wears a blue robe symbolizing emotion, and the male wears a yellow tunic symbolizing intellect. Above the caduceus is a winged lion head suggesting strength and the relationship taking flight.

Although Valentine’s Day has already passed, love is in the air. The winds of change stir to incite new beginnings. It’s as if you’re warming up after enduring a dark, cold season. You feel vibrant and alive. The Two of Cups suggests you’re open to love and you’re, indeed, drawing it to you. If you’re in a committed relationship, you surmount any difficulties and your intense feelings for one another renews. If you’re single, the Universe will answer your prayers for a new love to enter your world.

The Two of Cups promises a fertile time; once standing on the barren ground, you’re but a sidestep away from moving in the right direction on the path to your dreams. You put your full spirit into everything you do, and the Two of Cups promises rich spiritual rewards. In personal projects where you once felt there was “a lion in the way,” nothing is impeding your progress now. Your tendency for extremes balances out this month. You’ll experience greater harmony in all aspects of your life. People will see you at your best!

Affirmation: I am open to new or renewed love and accept all the good things coming my way.”

The Chariot Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 23): The Chariot

The Chariot features a white and black sphinx that represent opposing and complementary forces. The card also signifies the Chariot of the Soul, with the querent at the helm making life choices based on “walking the straight and narrow line (white horse) or letting chaos reign (black horse).

A situation may require you consider the “gray” area to find a peaceful and appropriate solution. The Charioteer has seen his share of battles, and is sometimes victorious, sometimes not. A more important message here is how the Charioteer manages victories and losses.

For Cancer, The Chariot tells of challenges you’ll face this month. Whether there’s victory or loss remains unclear, and the careful or haphazard choices you make will be the deciding factor on where you land. The saying goes: “Win or lose, it’s all about how you play the game.” But, there’s more to this truth: What you do after winning or losing defines your character and whether future success will ever be yours.

The Charioteer wears armor with crescent moons on them: A symbol of the emotional baggage he shoulders. A Crab, Cancer’s symbol, also has a shell serving as armor from the outside world. Thus, the card shows you have to don on your thick skin to let things roll off your back this month. Love relationships challenge you to come out of your shell and to dive into intimacy. In personal endeavors Cancer, this is your time to shine. Embrace it!

Affirmation: “I am open to new experiences and I trust the Universe to guide my way.”

The Hanged Man Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Leo (Jul 23–Aug 23): The Hanged Man (Reversed)

The Hanged Man depicts a figure hanging by one foot from a living tree. The Hanged Man is the 12th card in the Tarot’s trump cards (1+2=3), so there’s an emphasis on the number three’s energies.

His legs form the figure four, which corresponds with the planetary influences of Jupiter. There’s a nimbus around his head, signifying inspiration, and learning. His deep thought leads to lightning strikes of inspiration and enlightenment. With the card’s reversal, the Hanged Man is upright. No longer in a forced standstill, he transforms and escapes mental and emotional bondage.

If you’ve been hanging around waiting for things to unfold then the wait’s over. The Hang Man’s reversal suggests you’re entering a period of unparalleled growth and expansion. If you’ve been waiting for a lover to become more intimate, the Powers that Be are answering your prayers; if hoping for business success, you’ll stand proud of your profitable accomplishments. Also, if you’re hung up over an issue and obsessing over old wounds, you’ll free yourself from your emotional bondage.

Libra (Sep 23–Oct 23): The Nine of Cups

The Nine of Cups depicts a smug portly male satisfied with what he achieves. Behind him are nine chalices lined up on a draped display looking more like trophies. The drapery is blue and the backdrop yellow; with blue being the more dominant color, this card signifies the greatest satisfaction is within the emotional realm.

The Nine of Cups foretells of your satisfaction with your lot in life. You’ll find fulfillment and will be pleased with the status quo. For you, your goal in life is to achieve balance and harmony, and in achieving that goal, you’ll savor in your success.

The Page of Cups Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 22): Page of Cups (Reversed)

The Page of Cups depicts a young person (male or female) holding a chalice up in the air. From the cup, a fish jumps out and looks back at the Page. A body of water moves in mild waves behind him. The personality of the page aligns with the characteristics common in the Piscean personality.

When upright, the Page of Cups signifies the opportunity to explore emotions. Although there may be anxiousness brewing underneath your facade of confidence, you still want emotional connections. You’ll avoid emotionally charged conditions. The fish in the chalice falls out of the cup, suggesting you’ll have one or more “fish out of water” experiences.

In matters of work, those in authority will expect you to step outside of your everyday responsibilities and to try something new. Doing so lets you show off your immense capabilities. With romance, you’re more anxious than usual, and your partner is feeling it.

You’re restless and looking to instill some new adventure into the mix. You’ll meet with a bucket load of resistance if your lover is not on board. It’s no time to seek a new partner if you’re single; with the Nine of Cups’ reversal, you’re out of touch with the wisdom you’ll need for discerning underlying motives. This card warns of naïve or youthful folly where emotions blind you from truth.

Affirmation: “My focus is on self-love and healing.”

The Temperance Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 22): Temperance

The Temperance Card depicts an angel with one foot on the earth and one in water; It demonstrates a balance between the world of the mundane and the world of spirit, but also a balance between concrete thought and emotion. The Angel holds two chalices while seemingly mixing fluids (life’s essence) from both cups in mid-air without losing a drop of the liquid. Behind the angel is a path leading into the light where one discovers the crown of glory.

You’ll take all things in moderation. But, taking moderate action doesn’t hamper your fun. You’ll find creative methods for making things work for you, even in the face of apparent opposition. The Strength Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 20): Strength (Reversed)

The Strength Card depicts a woman wearing white with her hands holding the head of a lion. She shows no fear as her hands draw close to the lion’s mouth. A chain of flowers is around the woman’s waist, symbolizing adherence to the laws of the Universe, and a strength derived from one’s faith. This Tarot card, when upright, symbolizes one’s inner and outer strength, generosity, selflessness, bravery, and power.

Reversal of the Strength Card foretells of difficulties coming up for Capricorn in March. Good news is, “forewarned is forearmed,” and you may find yourself at the ready to handle out-of-the-norm conditions. You’ll feel like your inner strength is waning in matters where the bonds of friendship or love are already fraying. Trying the force the issue won’t result in a resolution; you have no control over others’ actions.

In the workplace, you’re a natural leader and people turn to you for support or guidance. But, the energies in March have you edgy and less accommodating than usual. You’re feeling at less than full strength and like you’re taking on the lion share of all the work: This leaves you moody and resentful. If you’re not careful, you may say something off the cuff leading to interoffice drama.

Affirmation: “In controlling my actions I contribute to the greater good.”

The Ten of Pentacles Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 18): Ten of Pentacles (Reversed)

The Ten of Pentacles depicts a seated older gentleman looking on at a couple and their child that are standing beneath an archway. The family is standing in front of their domain. There are two white dogs in the card symbolizing loyalty. The man looks on with a serious expression; there are grapes as part of the design of his clothing. Ten pentacles (coins) are falling out of the sky, suggestive of abundance, affluence, and an overflow of affection. The Ten of Pentacles’ reversal turns all this symbolism on its head.

You will face difficult financial conditions. There’s also potential disharmony in all relationships. Your concerns about money are growing because your budget is nonexistent: You’ve got way more money going out than coming into your household. In fact, both in money and love matters, you’ve been putting your investment into things that don’t prove profitable. This month, you give serious reconsideration to all you value in your life.

There’s a strain on family ties. Old sibling rivalries test your patience. All challenges seem to exist as if to test your fortitude, and even romantic relationships are dissatisfying. You look at ways for cleaning up loose ends and severing relationships not serving you. Even when money issues balance out, it only provides a temporary band-aid for emotional discomfort which is coming from a much deeper source. March has you looking for a longer-term solution for your deep dissatisfaction.

Affirmation: “I embrace change and intuitively know when it’s for my best interests.”

The Empress Tarot Card Meanings 1200x630

Pisces (Feb 18 – Mar 20): The Empress (Reversed)

The Empress is a pregnant female sitting in a cornfield quietly contemplating. She wears a diadem featuring 12 stars; a shield rests beside her Venus’ symbol. The globe of the world rests on her scepter. Some associate her with an agricultural Goddess, like Demeter, which is appropriate, given all the pomegranates (corresponding with Persephone) covering her robe. A waterfall runs in the background. This card is a symbol of growth, potential, and intuitive connections.

For March, you’re out of touch with your intuitive and psychic senses, Pisces. For whatever reason, you’ve decided you cannot trust your inner compass right now. It will leave you feeling directionless and longing for a guide through life’s more challenging moments.

In matters of love, you won’t experience much growth. You’ll find the issue is one of two extremes. You’ve either slipped into a parent/child relationship where your partner takes you for granted, or you’re not putting all the work in necessary to keep the romance alive.

With career endeavors, you’ll spin your wheels and wonder if you’ll ever really get anywhere. Take heart, Pisces. The month of March gives you time to reconsider your life’s purpose until you can trust your instincts once more.

Affirmation: “Every experience contributes to my growth. There are no wasted moments.”
